performed at Temple Beth Israel of Highland Park and Eagle Rock, Los Angeles (2011);
remounted at The L.A. Kitchen (2017)
A site specific, interactive performance-salon exploring the meaning of bread.
Participants rotated through different stations focused on cultural, religious, historical,
and political roles of bread. With dialogues, demonstrations, readings, inspirations,
kneading, live music, and lots of fresh bread. The L.A. Kitchen also included a panel on
local food and hunger issues.
